Little Chelsea Affordable Antiques Fair

Kamba Gallery, sister gallery to Kamba Fine Art, prepares for the semiannual Little Chelsea Affordable Antiques Fair held at Chelsea town Hall on the the 3rd and 4th March. Kamba Gallery will be exhibiting a selection of 19th and 20th century tribal art and photography and we will also be including a few contemporary works as well as a beautiful selection of African contemporary and tribal jewellery. The Little Chelsea fair is a great event for buyers and browsers alike.

October 2013, South Africa House in Trafalgar Square, London hosted an exhibition of artworks inspired by Nelson Mandela. A number of those works are now on sale as part of prestigious South African auction house Stephan Welz & Co's February 25-26 auction of decorative and fine arts. Included in the sale will be selection of tribal art as well as other works by South African artists.

The Works on Paper Art Fair was held at the Science museum at the beginning of the month where Kamba Gallery's own artist Damilola Odusote had a selection of his highly detailed urban city works on show.

Art 14 will run at Olympia Grand Hall at the end of February it is the second year for this particular fair. The Art 14 developers have taken a refreshingly different approach to this London fair encouraging diversity by focusing attention on galleries from China, the Middle East, Africa and Russia while still supporting works from western artists. There will also be a special part of the fair called Emerge this year which will give space to galleries under 7 years. There will be a range of talks for art lovers and collectors and art events held locally to compliment the fair.
